Vbulletin 4.15 Spoiler Tags

I have been using vBulletin with a spoilers tag addon which seems to be very popular on my forum. Vbulletin’s latest upgrade with the CKE editor seem to have broken that functionality and the add on was never updated yet.

This is what I have done to get around it for now:

in the BB code manager:

add:

Title:
Spoilers

BB Code Tag Name:
sp ( or whatever you want)

Replacement: (from the VSQ template)

<div>
<h2>Spoiler</h2>
<div>{param}</div>
</div>

Example:

[sp] this is a test [/sp]

Button Image:
http://www.yourdomain.com/images/editor/spoiler.gif (if you want an image in the advanced editor)

Just a temp workaround until the real add on is updated, hopefully soon.

Notes:

You can’t use [spoiler] in the bbcode since its already in use which is why I called it [sp].
Naming the spoiler doesn’t work (example, [spoiler=name]) although I’m sure there is an easy way to fix that, but just haven’t bothered.

    Please let me know if you’re looking for a author for your weblog. You have some really good posts and I believe I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d really like to write some material for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please shoot me an email if interested. Thanks!
